Wichita Falls is a generous city all year around, but in the month of September that generosity shines brightest as non profit organizations all over Texoma come together under the banner of #texomagives in an effort to raise much needed funds and the citizens do not disappoint. In just 16 hours on September 15th 2016 $750,000 were raised for more than 140 nonprofits, which well surpassed the goal of $500,000. From the Boy Scouts to feeding the elder at The Kitchen/Red Door, from pet rescue shelters to children rescue shelters, the need in this community is great.
