9th St. Studios has quickly gained the reputation of an active and diverse venue in the music and art scenes in Wichita Falls. Just shy of one year in operation, they have hosted events ranging from art shows and concerts to birthday parties and weddings. This Saturday, September 9th the list of unique and creative events will grow. At 7pm the doors will open to a display from local tattoo artists backed by the energetic antics of local punk band, It Hurts To Be Dead, at 9pm. Artists from Artistic Ink, Cowabunga Ink, The Human Canvas, Rusty’s Needles, and Underground Tattoo will have original art on display at the event. No real tattoos will be happening, but henna artist, Lofo Designs, will be set up and Sidecar Brewery will be pumping out the beer. There will be tattoo certificate raffle and more. If you’ve ever been to a 9th St. Studios event, you know you won’t be disappointed. If you’ve never been to one, well, what have you been waiting for?
