Downtown Wichita Falls has been steadily growing but this weekend it hits a growth spur. St. Patrick’s Day Weekend 2017 three new locally owned restaurants are opening their doors and it is sure to be booming with activity downtown. The Yard food truck park is reopening as a Ganache Company under the management of owner Amber Schacter. The gates will open at 5pm until midnight and they will be serving $1 green beer in commemorative green cups (while the cups last so show up early). Bryson Lawrence will be providing music, starting at 7pm. Also celebrating their grand opening Friday is the Highlander Public House from 3pm to 2 am with live music by The Wilde Hares and a full menu. Odd Duck Coffee is opening their doors on Saturday morning, March 18, at 8am. Odd Duck has been a favorite at the Farmer’s Market for almost a year and is rapidly growing. So, get off the couch and get downtown to celebrate the growth of this city!!
