The Hub crew had a ton of fun this past weekend at the Top of Texas Market. Vendors from around the country as well as local retailers and artists came together for food, music, and showcasing their goods. The Hub joined KFDX, KLUR, and The American Classifieds in a friendly competition that raised money for the Wichita County Heritage Society by purchasing items from the vendors and re purposing thing for something else. We are grateful for the opportunity to help the Wichita County Heritage Society and proud of all the participants and the great job everyone did turning junk into treasure.
The American Classifieds team wowed everyone by finding old wood in a dumpster and turning it into a beautiful accent table.
KFDX did a fantastic job converting a shabby old end table into a fun Lego play station for children.
KLUR brought new life to an old cedar chest.
The Hub turned a radio into a radio/lap combo that is both fun and functional. We stuck to the music theme by creating a ballot box out of an old guitar.
