William Schultz grew up traveling the globe; the typical life of a military brat. However, for an aspiring photographer, this is an ideal raising. William was able to see things through the lens of his camera that most of us have only seen online. He was always fascinated with photography. He reminisced, “As a kid, my grandparents would get me cameras from goodwill or anywhere they found one. I’d just shoot whatever. I would volunteer to shoot at all family functions.” He won a photo competition in middle school, which really fueled is passion but it the music festivals he attended in England that turned his focus toward music photography. He explains that “capturing the moment and that connection between a band and the crowd” is exciting for him.
William has been in Wichita Falls for three years as a student at Midwestern State University. He can be found around town every weekend shooting live events for The Hub. He is a talented photographer and we are proud to have him on our team.
